Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

3DMold (the "App") only collects the 3D model files (STL format) that you actively upload for geometry calculation services. We do not collect your name, phone number, physical address, or any other sensitive personal information.

We collect an anonymous User ID and Apple Original Transaction ID solely to verify your subscription status, restore top-up balances, and link your cloud calculation tasks. This data is linked to your account for functional purposes only and is not used for tracking or third-party marketing.

2. Data Processing & Retention Strategy

● Upload Phase

The original 3D models uploaded by users are used exclusively for cloud-based mold generation. Once the calculation task begins, the original model is removed from the processing pipeline.

● Storage Phase

The generated mold results are temporarily stored in a protected cloud storage (Cloudflare R2), accessible only by the user via the App.

● Automatic Destruction (Burn-After-Reading)

- Immediately after the user completes the download, the system marks the file for deletion.
- If not downloaded within 24 hours, the system performs an automated cleanup task to physically delete the file and permanently invalidate the download link.

● No Other Use

We strictly protect your intellectual property. We do not use uploaded models for AI training, secondary distribution, or any form of persistent retention.

3. Third-Party Services & Infrastructure

To provide you with stable, secure, and high-performance geometry calculation and data storage services, we utilize trusted third-party infrastructure providers.

3.1 Current Services

Currently, our services primarily operate on the following platforms:

Cloudflare: Used for global edge computing (Workers), content delivery (CDN), and object storage (R2).
DigitalOcean / Ubuntu: Used to deploy our core high-performance geometry calculation engine and backend services.

3.2 Supplier Changes & Adjustments

We may adjust, add, or replace such infrastructure providers (such as Linode, AWS, Google Cloud, etc.) at any time based on technical requirements, service quality, or cost considerations. We promise:

Role Definition: These providers act solely as "data processors" or "infrastructure providers." Unless otherwise required by law, they have no right to access, process, share, or use your original 3D model content or sensitive personal information.
Security Standards: We will only select providers that meet industry-standard security specifications (such as ISO 27001, SOC 2, etc.) to ensure the security of your data environment.
Compliance Notification: If a change in providers involves a significant change in data storage location (e.g., migrating from a US data center to a European data center), we will inform users via in-app announcements or by updating the privacy policy.

3.3 Data Access Restrictions

All model data uploaded to the above servers is transmitted via encryption (HTTPS/TLS). Our backend architecture ensures that model files exist only for the temporary lifecycle required for calculation, or are stored in your chosen encrypted storage space, and cannot be directly read by third-party platform personnel.

4. Payment & Subscription Security

All payment processing is handled strictly via the Apple App Store. We do not directly handle, store, or access your credit card or banking information. Your transaction history is encrypted and managed by Apple.

5. Your Rights & Disclaimers

Since we do not collect PII, there is no requirement for account deletion. You can terminate the service at any time by deleting the App. For security and cost reasons, files not downloaded within 24 hours are physically deleted; the developer holds no liability for direct or indirect consequences resulting from such data unavailability.
